The
applicants need to send the following documents via email
to: mark@earthcorps.org before being considered for any
EarthCorps positions:
• Resume/C.V.
• Autobiography detailing the applicant’s
related experiences working in the environmental field.
• EarthCorps International Participant Application
• EarthCorps Medical Questionnaire complete with
signature and authorization stamp.
• Copy of the picture page of your passport and
any US Embassy issued stamps and/or visas.
Qualified
applicants will be reviewed by a panel of EarthCorps staff.
EarthCorps rate applicants based on their relative experience
and their position in their sponsoring organization. They
look for people who can adequately use their EarthCorps
training once they return home.
EarthCorps
has established the following minimum criteria to be considered
for the program:
• 18-27 years of age. • Conversational English
• No Criminal Record
BEFORE
APPLICANTS APPLY
Please note that EarthCorps is required by the US government
to ensure that every applicant meets strict criteria in
order to qualify for a US J-1 Trainee visa. Before applying
please make sure you meet the following minimum criteria:
• 4 year college degree in the environmental field
and 1 year of relevant work experience
-OR 5 years of work experience in the environmental field
DEADLINES
AND START DATES:
• Applicant Application Dead Line: December 9, 2010
• Participant selection: December 2010
• Visa processing: January – May 2011
• Travel confirmation: May 2011
• EarthCorps Program starting date: June 6, 2011
• EarthCorps Program graduation: December 15, 2011
